The Environmental Protection Agency is a state institution that carries out state environmental monitoring, collects, analyses and provides reliable information on the state of the environment, climate change, chemical flows, pollution prevention measures, implements environmental regulation of economic activities, chemical and preparation management, and water body protection and management policies. It also contributes to environmental legal regulation, public information and education, carries out effective supervision of laboratory activities (environmental research and/or measurements, sampling), and assesses the impact of legislation.
